佛告阿難：「汝常聞我毘奈耶中宣說修行三決定義，所謂攝心為戒，因戒生定，因定發慧，是則名為三無漏學。」

The Buddha told Ānanda: "You have constantly heard me proclaim in the Vinaya the three definitive meanings of cultivation, namely: collecting the mind constitutes the precepts, because of precepts concentration is born, and because of concentration wisdom is brought forth; these are called the three trainings free of outflows."
