6.73

「若有諸天樂出天倫，我現天身而為說法，令其成就。若有諸龍樂出龍倫，我現龍身而為說法，令其成就。若有藥叉樂度本倫，我於彼前現藥叉身而為說法，令其成就。若乾闥婆樂脫其倫，我於彼前現乾闥婆身而為說法，令其成就。」

"If there are devas who delight in escaping their celestial species, I appear in the body of a deva and expound the Dharma for them, causing them to achieve [their wish]. If there are nāgas who delight in escaping their nāga species, I appear in the body of a nāga and expound the Dharma for them, causing them to achieve [their wish]. If there are yakṣas who delight in transcending their own species, I appear before them in the body of a yakṣa and expound the Dharma for them, causing them to achieve [their wish]. If there are gandharvas who delight in casting off their species, I appear before them in the body of a gandharva and expound the Dharma for them, causing them to achieve [their wish]."
