6.93

本由四大分湛，旋令覺知。今復本聞知見歸湛，湛性圓遍，無塵可得。塵火既歇，何物能燒？故令眾生大火不壞。

Originally, caused by the four great elements dividing the limpid clarity, this revolved and gave rise to awareness and knowing. Now, returning to the original hearing, perception returns to limpid clarity; the limpid nature is perfectly pervasive, and no dust is to be found. Once the dust-fire has subsided, what thing could burn? Therefore, it causes sentient beings not to be destroyed by great fires.
