「阿難！在在處處國土眾生隨有此呪，天龍歡喜，風雨順時，五穀豐殷，兆庶安樂。亦復能鎮一切惡星隨方變怪，災障不起，人無橫夭，𣐬械枷鎖不著其身，晝夜安眠常無惡夢。」

"Ānanda, wherever in lands and places sentient beings possess this mantra, the devas and nāgas will rejoice, wind and rain will arrive in season, the five grains will be abundant, and the myriad populace will be peaceful and happy. It can also suppress all evil stars, so that whatever monstrous transformations occur according to their directions, calamitous hindrances will not arise, people will not suffer untimely deaths, shackles and fetters will not touch their bodies, and they will sleep peacefully day and night, free from nightmares."
