7.111

世有修行心切而多障惱，蓋宿業耳。凡作世善尚多違緣，況出世心求成覺道，激動而發，其可敵乎？非不思議祕密之功莫能遣也。

In the world, there are those whose aspiration to practice is earnest yet who encounter many obstacles and afflictions; these are simply due to past karma. Even performing ordinary worldly good meets with many adverse conditions, so how much more so when one brings forth the supramundane mind to seek the path of awakening, provoking them to arise—how could one withstand them? Without the inconceivable secret efficacy, none can dispel them.
