「世尊！如是修證佛三摩提，未到涅槃，云何名為乾慧之地、四十四心？至何漸次得修行目？詣何方所名入地中？云何名為等覺菩薩？」作是語已，五體投地。大眾一心佇佛慈音，瞪瞢瞻仰。

"World-Honoured One! In cultivating and realizing the Buddha's samādhi like this, before reaching nirvāṇa, what are the stage of dry wisdom and the forty-four minds called? At what sequence does one obtain the designation of cultivation? Arriving at what stage is called entering the grounds? What is called an Equal Awakening Bodhisattva?" Having spoken thus, he cast his five limbs to the ground. The great assembly waited with single-minded devotion for the Buddha's compassionate voice, gazing up with transfixed eyes.
