「阿難！云何名為世界顛倒？是有所有，分段妄生，因此界立；非因所因，無住所住，遷流不住，因此世成。三世、四方和合相涉，變化眾生成十二類。」

"Ānanda, what is termed the inversion of the worlds? It is this existence of what is possessed, in which segmented [existences] falsely arise, and due to this, space is established; it is that which is not a cause being a cause, where there is abiding in what does not abide, flowing and never staying, and due to this, time is formed. The three times and the four directions intermingle and interact, transforming sentient beings into twelve classes."
