Internally, due to the mark of movement, externally the wind-wheel is resonated with, and therefore sound appears. Because of shaking arising from space, solid luminosity establishes obstruction, and therefore form is established. When metal and wind rub against each other, there is the light of fire; fire has vapor, and vapor is scent. Precious luminosity generates moisture, and the light of fire steams upward, whereby flowing water arises; water has cold and warmth, and thus touch is formed. Touch is divided into roughness and smoothness; when confronted with the tongue, taste arises. The coming together of the five sensory objects with the mental faculty is called phenomena. These six dust-objects combine and intermingle in confusion with the false thinking of the internal faculties, and from this all karmas are produced, hence forming karmic natures. Karma must have retribution; the twelve classes are divided based on this, and thus revolving cycles are formed. Below 'therefore', it concludes with completing a cycle; a cycle is also a revolution. Sound, scent, taste, and touch briefly mention four of the twelve.
