因依假待，虛偽不真。託穢成身，藉物為導。因即和合巧偽，改故為新，或附託因依，遞倚形勢，資身養命，業果相循，如水母等以水沫成身、以蝦為目。有情身內八萬戶虫竝是此類。攬物成體，假食於他，不從自類受身，故名非有色相。

Dependent and relying on borrowed support, they are simulated and unreal. Lodging in filth to form a body, they rely on other things as a guide. The cause is their combining clever deceit, altering the old to make the new; or clinging and depending on others, relying reciprocally on their shapes and forces to nourish the body and maintain life, karma and fruit revolving mutually—such as jellyfish forming their bodies from water-foam and taking shrimp as their eyes. The eighty thousand families of worms within the bodies of sentient beings are all of this class. Gathering other things to form their substance and borrowing nourishment from others, they do not receive bodies from their own kind; hence they are called 'forming material form out of non-material form.'
