Mutually enticing and luring, they coax each other into forming their nature. With curses and incantations added, they summon them to become their kind. Although responding from sound, they borrow their own nature. Like toads and the like, which attach to eggs with sound and then rear them, so that without the sound they would perish. The cause is either loving and clinging to the sense-realm of sound, or violating vows and praying with incantations seeking birth; their minds and mouths bring about calamity, and the retribution incurs this fault.
