「且汝宿世與摩登伽歷劫因緣，恩愛習氣非是一生及與一劫，我一宣揚，愛心永脫成阿羅漢。彼尚婬女，無心修行，神力冥資，速證無學。云何汝等在會聲聞求最上乘，決定成佛，譬如以塵揚于順風，有何艱險？」

"Furthermore, the causes and conditions between you and Mātaṅgī throughout past kalpas, the habituated energies of affection and love, did not span only a single life or a single kalpa; yet as soon as I proclaimed it, her loving mind was forever cast off and she became an arhat. She was merely a prostitute, lacking the mind to cultivate; yet with the hidden aid of divine power, she quickly realized the state of no-more-learning. How much more for you śrāvakas in this assembly who seek the supreme vehicle and are determined to attain buddhahood—is it not like blowing dust into a following wind? What difficulty or danger could there be?"
