8.122

智行微妙，冥通果德，故云行與佛同。自然合佛慈種，名受佛氣分。如中陰身自求父母者，以佛權、實二智為父母。故《維摩》云「智度菩薩母，方便以為父。」既分入果智，密合果德，故云冥通入如來種。

Wisdom and practice are wondrous, tacitly communicating with the fruition virtue; hence it says 'his practice is identical with that of the buddhas.' Naturally uniting with the Buddha's compassionate lineage is called 'receiving the Buddha's vital energy.' As for 'like an intermediate-state body seeking its own parents,' this takes the Buddha's provisional and real wisdoms as father and mother. Thus the Vimalakīrti says: 'Wisdom is the bodhisattva's mother, and skillful means is the father.' Having partially entered fruition wisdom and secretly united with fruition virtue, it therefore says 'tacitly communing, entering the lineage of the Tathāgata.'
