「世尊！若此妙明真淨妙心本來遍圓，如是乃至大地草木、蠕動含靈本元真如，即是如來成佛真體。佛體真實，云何復有地獄、餓鬼、畜生、修羅、人、天等道？世尊！此道為復本來自有？為是眾生妄習生起？」

"World-Honoured One! If this wonderfully bright, truly pure, wondrous mind is fundamentally all-pervading and perfect, so that even the great earth, grasses and trees, and crawling creatures endowed with consciousness are fundamentally the original tathatā, which is the true body of the Tathāgata's realization of Buddhahood—and if the Buddha's body is real and true, why then are there paths such as hells, hungry ghosts, animals, asuras, humans, and devas? World-Honoured One, do these paths exist fundamentally of themselves, or do they arise from sentient beings' deluded habits?"
