8.44

持戒清淨，魔事不生。觀行既成，故能發用。於父母所生之身得相似五通，此同《法華》觀行持經於現身中獲六根淨。文云「雖未得天眼，但用父母所生眼，徹見三千界」等。

"When upholding the precepts is pure, demonic events do not arise. Once the contemplative practice is accomplished, its function can be brought forth. Within the body born of parents, one obtains the semblance five supernormal knowledges. This is identical to the Lotus Sūtra's contemplative practice of upholding the sūtra wherein one obtains the purity of the six faculties in the present body. The text states: 'Although not yet having attained the divine eye, using merely the eyes born of parents, one thoroughly sees the three-thousandfold realms,' and so forth."
