「阿難！是等皆以業火乾枯酬其宿債，傍為畜生，此等亦皆自虛妄業之所招引，若悟菩提，則此妄緣本無所有。」

"Ānanda! All of these repay their past debts through karmic fires drying up, laterally becoming animals. These too are all attracted by their own empty and false karma; if one awakens to bodhi, then these false conditions fundamentally do not exist."
