枉習為業，鬼受明靈，驅役疾馳，無暫停止，畜招休應。人雜聰明，考果從因，必無差忒。

The habit of crookedness was their karma: as ghosts they underwent the form of luminous spirits, driven to race swiftly without a moment's pause; as animals they incurred auspicious responses. As humans they mingle with the clever and discerning; when one investigates the fruit from the cause, there is surely no discrepancy.
