8.555

金石者，服丹砂成九轉之類。化有二種：一能化骨令壽永體堅、二能化物俾賤作貴。此道苟成，遊戲人間，濟貧恤苦得自在也。

'Metals and minerals' means ingesting cinnabar transformed through nine cycles, and the like. There are two kinds of transformation: first, being able to transform the bones to make life prolonged and the body firm; second, being able to transform things to turn the base into the precious. If this path is completed, they play freely in the human world, relieving the poor and showing pity to the suffering, gaining self-mastery.
