不求常住，即不修正覺也。無定力故不能捨愛，有善戒故心不流逸，善根力故心澄身明。此則澄瑩欲心，發生明性。此人命終生須彌半，隣日月宮，所有天眾皆此天管。

'Do not seek the permanently abiding' means not cultivating proper awakening. Because they lack concentration power, they cannot abandon affection; because they have good precepts, their minds do not wander licentiously; by the power of wholesome roots, their minds are clarified and their bodies radiant. This is clarifying the mind of desire and bringing forth radiant nature. When such people die, they are born halfway up Mount Sumeru, neighboring the palaces of the sun and moon; all heavenly assemblies are governed by this heaven.
