《法華》、《瑜伽》亦說有四脩羅，大同於此。諸說脩羅或天、或鬼皆不明了，此經分明，可為標准。
The Saddharmapuṇḍarīka and the Yogācārabhūmi also speak of four kinds of asuras, largely the same as here. Various explanations of asuras as either gods or ghosts are all unclear; this sūtra makes the distinction luminous and can serve as the definitive standard.
