The three—killing, stealing, and lust—are individually committed by different persons, hence called 'each has its private [nature].' That which they commit is identical, hence it says 'common share.' Karma and suffering correspond to each other without the slightest divergence, hence it says 'fixed place,' which is the place invoked [by retribution]. Since it is called 'falsity,' how could it have a cause? Therefore it cannot be investigated. This concludes and answers the earlier question about whether there is a fixed place, or whether it is spontaneous, with each bringing forth karma and privately receiving it.
