「阿難！彼善男子當在此中得大光耀，其心發明，內抑過分，忽於其處發無窮悲，如是乃至觀見蚊虻猶如赤子，心生憐，慜不覺流淚。」

"Ānanda, when that good son is in this state, he attains great brilliance. His mind illuminates, and through excessive inner suppression, he suddenly brings forth boundless compassion in that place, to such an extent that he observes mosquitoes and gnats as like newborn infants, giving rise to pity in his heart and shedding tears unconsciously."
