心希契合，令未聞法便自開悟，乃至得通、自誦經等。頗合其心，故多綿愛。
The mind hopes to blend and unite, causing them to spontaneously awaken before even hearing the Dharma, up to attaining supernormal powers, spontaneously reciting sūtras, and so forth. Because it matches his mind quite well, he cherishes close affection all the more.
