The Buddha said: "'When the six are untied, the one also vanishes' is also like this. Because your mind-nature from beginningless time has been wild and disordered, false perceptions have arisen; and because this false arising does not cease, straining the vision produces dusts—just as straining the eyes produces wild flowers. Within the pure, essential clarity, there causelessly and chaotically arise all worldly mountains, rivers, the great earth, saṃsāra, and nirvāṇa—all of which are the characteristics of wild, strained, inverted flowers."
