首楞嚴義疏注經 5.49

This versifies the previous text on "setting up a knowing upon perception," and so forth. Being deluded about faculties and grasping objects, not understanding the emptiness of nature, and falsely seizing them as existing is avidyā. Understanding that nature lacks inherent nature, and that the true and false are as one, faculties, objects, and consciousness cannot constitute bondage; hence it is named liberation. This is the taintless, true purity of nirvāṇa.
