"Have banners and flowers hung all around outside, and on the four walls inside the altar room set out whatever images there are of the tathāgatas and bodhisattvas of the ten directions. In the central position, hang [images of] Vairocana, Śākyamuni, Maitreya, Akṣobhya, and Amitābha, with various grand manifestation images of Avalokiteśvara along with Vajragarbha placed to their left and right. Display Śakra, Brahma-rāja, Ucchuṣma along with Ucchiṣma, the various Kuṇḍalīs with Bhṛkuṭī, the Four Heavenly Kings, Vināyaka, and others on both sides beside the door, positioned left and right. Furthermore, take eight mirrors and hang them facing downward in the air, directly opposite the mirrors placed within the altar site, causing their forms and reflections to mutually interpenetrate in layer upon layer."
