"Ānanda, you should know that this mantra is constantly attended day and night by the lineages of eighty-four thousand nayutas of koṭis of vajragarbha-king bodhisattvas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, each with assemblies of vajras as retinues. Even if there are sentient beings who, with a scattered mind not in samādhi, remember it in mind and hold it with their mouth, these vajra-kings will constantly follow those good sons—how much more so those whose bodhi-mind is resolute! All these vajra bodhisattva-kings will quietly and swiftly stimulate their spiritual consciousness with pure devotion. That person will immediately be able to remember the events of eighty-four thousand aeons as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, thoroughly comprehending them without doubt or perplexity."
