"This describes the realization of the true reality. The lands blend into the real and the perfectly bright substance becomes manifest, hence it is like a precious moon suspended inside lapis lazuli. 'Pure' signifies emptiness. Lapis lazuli and the precious moon represent the empty, the provisional, and the middle. Therefore, the Perfect Enlightenment Sūtra states: 'Because enlightenment is perfectly bright, it reveals the purity of the mind; because the mind is pure, even one world or multiple worlds are pure,' and so forth."
