The beings of these six heavens have radiant bodies, fly freely, and have prolonged lifespans, gradually increasing and becoming more superior, unlike the lower human destiny; hence it is said, "although their forms transcend bodily movement." Moreover, the mixed beings of the human destiny have short lifespans, constantly shifting and changing, whereas the merit and lifespan of devas are difficult to shake suddenly; hence it is said, "transcend bodily movement." Because there is still the encounter with realms of desire, it is said, "the traces of their minds still intermingle." When one reaches the stages of meditative absorption, there is permanently no facing of desire.
