"This sets forth the topic. Using the wisdom within this dry wisdom, one harmonizes with the principle of the Middle Way. Both principle and wisdom are in the Middle, hence called 'Middle of the Middle'. Furthermore, being free from all characteristics of the two extremes, it illumines both truths, both of which are nothing but reality. Moreover, this Middle wisdom progresses to higher stages in thought after thought, hence it is said 'flows inward into the Middle'. 'Flows into' reveals progressing effortlessly and spontaneously; by realizing the Middle Way, one naturally flows into the ocean of sarvajña (all-knowledge). This adds yet another degree of the function of wisdom and severance, hence it is said 'blossoming into perfect wondrousness'. This means increasing and clarifying contemplative wisdom in the mind of dry wisdom as an expedient means, thereby entering the ten faiths."
