Within the Love of Blessings, two directions diverge: first, the straight path, which leads directly to the Vast Fruits; second, the roundabout and deviating path, which leads to Non-Thought. This is the heading; 'if, based on' onward explains it. If from the initial resolve onward one has not harbored deviant views, but directly cultivated the four fundamental dhyānas and the four immeasurable wholesome states, perfuming the blessed virtues of dhyāna, detaching from the defilements of the lower grounds, and experiencing all four stages in succession, then upon reaching this Love of Blessings one further augments superior concentration; through what is induced by vast blessings, one attains birth in a superior place, called the Heaven of Vast Fruits.
