「教者」下，釋此三義。約理約行皆對理性而為通別行別，同歸理一名異，唯初約教不對理明。

"Teaching" and what follows explains these three criteria. Both in terms of principle and in terms of practice, shared and distinct are set in contrast to the nature of principle; the practices are distinct, but they converge in a single principle, their names being different. Only the first, in terms of teaching, is explained without being set in contrast to principle.
