1.31

「入道多途」者，至理虛通，目之為道。諸經稱四悉機，示其入理之路，不獨一類，故曰多途。

"Entering the path has many avenues": the ultimate principle is empty and unimpeded, which is designated "the path." Various sūtras, matching the capacities of the four siddhāntas, show the paths for entering the principle; they are not of merely one sort, hence it is said "many avenues."
