「各有大義」者，如前以四教釋大智也。三雖名大，望圓仍小，故云「而非究竟」也。
"Each having a great meaning" is as previously explained with the four teachings interpreting great wisdom. Although the three are called great, looking toward the perfect they are still small; hence it says "yet they are not ultimate."
