3.41

「實相印」者，《三蒼》云「印，信也，檢也。」《大論》云「大乘經用一實相印，生死即涅槃、涅槃即生死，不二不異故。」「苦盡」下，以前消滅、調伏二義對釋經文也。「乃至有見」者，略三途惡業，故云乃至。從「乃至字至廣遠」凡五十八字，當在釋第二番呪云云字下，爛脫在此。

Regarding "the seal of true reality": the Sancang says, "A seal is trust; it is examination." The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa says, "Mahāyāna sūtras use the single seal of true reality: saṃsāra is precisely nirvāṇa, nirvāṇa is precisely saṃsāra, because they are neither two nor different." From "the exhaustion of suffering" down, it uses the preceding two meanings of eliminating and subduing to explain the text of the sūtra. Regarding "up to views of existence": abridging the evil karma of the three destinies, it therefore says "up to." From the word "up to" down to "vast and far-reaching," altogether fifty-eight characters, should be located below the words "and so on" in the explanation of the second round of dhāraṇīs; through corruption and dislocation, it is found here.
