From "neither clinging nor craving" onward refers to the bodhisattva of the Tripitaka teaching. In "knowing the counting of forms", "form" (se) should be "breath" (xi), which is a scribal error. "Upon the condition" means gathering the mind upon the count without confusion, namely from one to ten. In "wisdom equal to the signless": the signless wisdom is the sixth pāramitā of the shared teaching; "equal to" refers to including the prior five pāramitā. However, the shared teaching and the Tripitaka teaching differ in grasping and analysing, but have no difference in the six pāramitā; hence, succeeding the Tripitaka text, it is abbreviated. It says the perfection of wisdom, by guiding the five with wisdom, accomplishes all of them; this is the equal wisdom that is empty. It should say: because wisdom and so forth are not fixed in emptiness, they refute emptiness; because emerging into provisionality is not fixed in conventionality, they refute provisionality to enter the middle contemplation. In "this breath is neither empty nor provisional": understanding that breath is mind-only, just like an illusion, it is therefore not provisional; because the nature of breath fully contains all phenomena, it is therefore not empty.
