述曰：第二大天遊戲也。《樓炭經》云：「此善見大城城外，四面各有一薗，城東者名麁惡苑，城南名眾車苑，城西者雜林苑，城北者戲林苑，於城四面有此四苑。言城東麁惡苑者，於中鬪戰身即麁大，故名麁惡。苑以七寶所成，苑中有樹名香樹、衣樹、瓔珞樹、寶器樹、樂樹、飯食樹，若須香時樹下索之即得，隨意多少；若須瓔珞，向瓔珞樹下索之即得，準前；若須寶器者，至寶器樹下索之即得，準前，若須飯食，至其飯食樹下索之，即得隨意。然諸天食有其三種，上福德者飯色即白，中福德者飯色即赤，下福德者飯色即變所青色也。須樂器時，即於樂樹下取之隨意。苑中有池，以七寶莊寶，有二金鼓，是三十三天遊喜。城南眾車苑者，於中眾車遊戲，馬車一千，亦以七寶莊嚴。亦有香樹衣樹瓔珞樹，亦有七寶池，亦有三金臺，以為莊嚴。倍勝於前。城西雜林苑者，莊嚴如上，倍勝於前。城北戲林苑者，有諸樹，亦有寶池，池中亦有三金臺，種種莊嚴，倍勝於前。」如是四苑，是帝釋及三十三天子與諸彩女於中遊戲受快樂，自餘小天不得輒入，故云與諸大天遊戲於園觀也。自餘小天，於四苑外受天快樂。

The commentary states: This is the second [passage], roaming and sporting with the great devas. The Lòutàn jīng states: "Outside this great city of Sudarśana, on the four sides there is a park on each side: that to the east of the city is named the Harsh-and-Evil Park (Caitraratha); that to the south of the city is named the Many-Chariots Park; that to the west of the city is named the Miscellaneous Forest Park (Pāruṣyaka/Miśrakāvana); that to the north of the city is named the Sporting Forest Park (Nandana). There are these four parks on the four sides of the city. As for the Harsh-and-Evil Park east of the city: because when battling within it their bodies become harsh and huge, it is therefore named Harsh-and-Evil. The park is formed of the seven precious substances. In the park are trees named Fragrance Trees, Clothing Trees, Necklace Trees, Jewelled Vessel Trees, Music Trees, and Food Trees. If one needs fragrance, requesting it under the tree one immediately obtains it, in whatever quantity desired. If one needs necklaces, going under the necklace tree and requesting them, one immediately obtains them, as before. If one needs jewelled vessels, arriving under the jewelled vessel tree and requesting them, one immediately obtains them, as before. If one needs food, arriving under the food tree and requesting it, one immediately obtains whatever is desired. However, the food of the gods is of three kinds: for those of superior merit, the color of the food is white; for those of middling merit, the color of the food is red; for those of inferior merit, the color of the food changes to blue. When one needs musical instruments, one takes them from under the music tree at will. Within the park is a pond adorned with the seven precious substances and having two golden drums; this is where the Thirty-three Gods roam and make merry. As for the Many-Chariots Park south of the city: within it they roam and sport in many chariots, with one thousand horse-drawn chariots, likewise adorned with the seven precious substances. It also has fragrance trees, clothing trees, and necklace trees, as well as seven-jewelled ponds and three golden terraces for adornment, twice as superior as the previous one. As for the Miscellaneous Forest Park west of the city: its adornments are as above, twice as superior as the previous one. As for the Sporting Forest Park north of the city: it has various trees and also jewelled ponds, within which there are also three golden terraces, variously adorned, twice as superior as the previous one." Such four parks are where Śakra and the sons of heaven of the Thirty-three Gods, together with their concubines, roam, sport, and enjoy pleasures within; the remaining lesser devas are not permitted to enter at will. Therefore, it is said that he "roamed in the gardens and belvederes with the various great devas." The remaining lesser devas enjoy celestial pleasures outside the four parks.
