1.70

白帝釋言：「聽我所說，我與諸天女共相圍繞，受諸快樂，聞有聲言：『善住天子却後七日命將欲盡，命終之後生贍部洲，七返受畜生身，受七身已，即墮諸地獄，從地獄出，希得人身，生貧賤家而無兩目。』」者。

He addressed Śakra, saying: "Listen to what I say! While surrounded by devīs and enjoying various pleasures, I heard a voice say: 'Devaputra Susthita, after seven days your life will come to an end; after your life comes to an end, you will be born in Jambudvīpa and undergo seven rebirths in animal bodies; having undergone these seven bodies, you will fall into the hells; emerging from hell, you will rarely obtain a human body, and will be born into a poor and lowly family, lacking both eyes.'"
