睡眠、亂語、憒鬧、入定等，由本無心同秉法故。《十誦》中：證他受戒，各各入定、亂語等，不知羯磨成不？佛言：並皆不成。準此，僧數必多者，亦許成就。縱在房中睡眠醉亂者，理亦開成。餘同羯磨法中說。

Sleeping, incoherent speech, tumult, entered into absorption, and so forth: this is because they fundamentally have no intention to execute the procedure together. In the Daśādhyāya-vinaya, when witnessing another's ordination, each enters absorption, speaks incoherently, and so forth, not knowing whether the karman is accomplished or not. The Buddha said: 'None of it is accomplished.' According to this, if the saṃgha count must be large, it is also permitted to succeed. Even if someone is sleeping or intoxicated and confused inside a room, in principle it is also allowed to succeed. The rest is as explained in the karman procedures.
