次為受衣鉢坐具。若沙彌時，說淨長衣鉢者；更請施主，總將說淨。若沙彌時不說，則已犯長；應令將捨，作吉羅懺，然後說淨。並和尚委示之。

Next is conferring the robes, bowl, and sitting mat. If, during his time as a śrāmaṇera, he had determined as pure extra robes and bowls, he should further request a donor to take all of them and determine them as pure. If he did not do so while a śrāmaṇera, he has already committed an offense of having extra robes; one should have him relinquish them, make a duṣkṛta confession, and then determine them as pure. The upādhyāya should instruct him in all of this in detail.
