問：受一月日，得攝閏六十日不？答：不得。以安居策修，靜住有益；受日出界，亂業曲開，非是正修；限依一月，不得過法。問：五事賞勞，得攝五月一月，含閏二六不？答：《十誦》不開，由是開奢法故。

Question: When receiving [permission for] one month of days, does it include sixty days of the intercalary month? Answer: It does not. Because varṣā is for urging cultivation, quiet dwelling is beneficial; taking days to leave the boundary is a disturbance of practice granted as an exceptional concession, not the primary cultivation; the limit is set at one month, and one cannot exceed the rule. Question: Can the reward of the five privileges include five months and one month, encompassing an intercalary month of twelve [weeks]? Answer: The Daśādhyāya does not permit it, because it is an exceptional rule of relaxation.
