1.80

然則事類相投，更難量擬；若長途散釋，則寡於討論；必隨相曲分，便過在繁碎。今隨宜約略，通結指歸；使舉領提網，毛目自整；載舒載覽，隨事隨依。

However, as categories of affairs intermingle, they are all the more difficult to measure and estimate; if one explains them diffusely in an extended manner, then there will be a lack of thorough investigation; yet if one divides them minutely according to every mark, the fault then lies in excessive complexity and fragmentation. Now, adapting to what is appropriate, I have summarized them to collectively unify their aim, so that by lifting the collar and holding up the net, the fine details will naturally be ordered; unfolding and perusing it, one may rely upon it according to the matter at hand.
