制教有二：一制作，作則無愆，不順有罪；二制止，作則有過，止則無違。

The prescriptive teaching has two aspects: first, prescribing action, where acting incurs no fault and failing to comply incurs an offense; second, prescribing abstention, where acting incurs a fault and abstaining brings no violation.
