斥非中。古德誦經法，須以香湯漱口；後世傳訛，乃將布薩時用。往往有者，《尼鈔》云：承香湯水時，不得𠻳口吐地；數見故別標記。

Under "Rebuking Errors": in the ancients' rite of sūtra recitation, one had to rinse the mouth with fragrant hot water; later generations transmitted the error, applying it to the time of poṣadha. It frequently occurs; the *Bhikṣuṇī Manual* says, "When receiving fragrant water, one must not rinse the mouth and spit on the ground"; having seen it repeatedly, it was specially recorded.
