結意中，上二句結前。分宗類者，即向所明通塞條別。未顯來詮者，不明立教同別來意也。諸下，指廣。不同意者，即上止作別相，各有所以。大疏即祖師所稟首師《律疏》二十卷。而言大者，或隨大部為言、或簡今家戒業二疏，非謂尊師故也。今見《義鈔》、《戒疏》，不能廣錄，學者自尋。

In "Concluding Purpose": the upper two lines conclude what preceded. "Distinguishing schools and categories" refers to the common and exclusive particulars clarified just before. "Not yet revealing the origin of the exposition" means not yet explaining the underlying purpose for establishing common and distinct aspects of the teaching. "Various..." points to extensive texts. "Purpose of divergence" refers to the above distinct marks of cessation and action, each having its reason. The Great Commentary refers to the twenty-fascicle Vinaya Commentary by Master Shou, under whom the Patriarchal Master studied. It is called "Great" either because it was spoken in accord with the great work, or to differentiate it from the two commentaries on precepts and karma of our school, not merely out of reverence for the master. Seeing now the Meaning Manual and the Precept Commentary, they cannot be extensively recorded here; students should seek them on their own.
