第十門，標分中。鈔者祖師自號也。引下三句，即括三科。但科酌之言，對下少異。然下云鈔興，但明抄略之意；此言科酌，正明量處之謀；前後異名，共成一意。言正經者，正謂入諸正錄，經者訓法訓常，名兼通別；通該三藏，別在修多；今此從通，以收群部。

In the tenth gate, regarding the heading and divisions: "Transactions Manual" is the Patriarchal Master's own title. The three lines citing below subsume the three sections. However, the expression "sectional appraisal" differs slightly from what follows below. That is to say, below it states "the arising of the Transactions Manual," which merely clarifies the intention of abridging; here, "sectional appraisal" specifically clarifies the strategy of weighing and arranging; the differing terms across front and back together fulfill a single meaning. "Correct scriptures" means specifically those entered into the authentic catalogs; "scripture" is glossed as "norm" and as "constant," a term that combines both general and specific senses: generally it covers the three piṭakas, and specifically it resides in the sūtras; here it follows the general sense so as to gather the various schools.
