《伽論》三人，初重病。顯相，必約神昏。身雖困篤，心猶不昧，律令輿至，或僧就彼，或出界外，故知是足。

Regarding the three persons in the [Abhidharma-]mātṛkā: the first is the gravely ill. Manifesting the marks must be framed in terms of mental confusion. Although the body is exhausted and critical, if the mind is not yet dimmed, the Vinaya requires carrying him [to the assembly], or the saṃgha goes to his place, or he is taken outside the boundary; thus we know he constitutes sufficiency.
