二欲法自與中，初科。以律但云佛言不應稱事與欲清淨，聽如法僧事與欲清淨。無上二句，故云不具。《業疏》云：律云廣說，不正出文；今比轉欲裁出，故云義設。詞中，初句告前憶持，次句自言名號，第三句牒所欲事，第四句正陳本心。

Under "Second: Giving Chanda by Oneself within the Procedure," the first section. Because the Vinaya only says: "The Buddha said: one should not state the matter when giving chanda and purity; one is permitted to give chanda and purity for a lawful Saṃgha matter," it lacks the upper two lines, hence it is called incomplete. The Karma Commentary says: "The Vinaya says to explain extensively, not directly producing the text; now, comparing it to the delegation of chanda, it is tailored and produced, hence called conceptually established." In the phrasing, the first line tells the other to remember and retain, the second line states one's own name, the third line specifies the desired matter, and the fourth line directly states the original mind.
