釋無外中，初句牒前。由下，正釋，初示義。故下，引文。即說戒小界羯磨緣也。若下，復約制解，以彰不立。疏云：不應不解而去。顯無外相，起必迷方。不下，顯前須立。

Under 'Explaining the Absence of External [Markers]': the first sentence restates the preceding. From 'Due to...' onward, the correct explanation: first demonstrating the meaning. From 'Therefore...' onward, citing the text: this is the circumstances for the small-boundary karmavācanā for poṣadha. From 'If...' onward, explaining further in terms of the prohibition to show that [external markers] are not established. The Commentary says: 'One should not depart without dissolving [the boundary].' This shows that without external markers, upon rising one would surely lose one's bearings. From 'Not...' onward, manifesting that the former requires establishment.
