指結法中。事希故略者，非鈔意也。今略引之，說戒文云：大德僧聽！今有爾許比丘集，若僧時到僧忍聽結小界，白如是；羯磨準知。（餘二緣相，如前已引。）

In pointing to the method of binding: That it is omitted because the matter is rare is not the Manual's intention. Now citing it briefly, the poṣadha text states: “Let the venerable saṅgha listen! Now so many bhikṣus have assembled. If the time has arrived for the saṅgha, may the saṅgha grant permission to bind a small boundary. Such is the motion.” The karmavācanā can be understood by analogy. (The conditions and marks of the other two have already been cited above.)
