《涅槃》亦出第三，初指前標後。有下，正勸為二；初勸道眾。懲音澄，誡也（經本作糺）。又下，勸道俗為二；初令勸學。四眾即僧尼士女，下云四部亦同。正法者，經作戒定慧。若下，二勸苦治。

The Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra also appears as the third citation. First, it points to what precedes and marks what follows. 'There are...' below formally exhorts, in two parts: first, exhorting the monastic assembly. Cheng is pronounced cheng, meaning to admonish (the sūtra text has jiu, to investigate). 'Furthermore...' below exhorts both monastics and laity, in two parts: first, urging them to study. 'Four assemblies' means monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen; 'four groups' below is also the same. 'Right Dharma' is rendered as precepts, concentration, and wisdom in the sūtra. 'If...' below secondly urges severe disciplinary punishment.
